Mandurah Body Board Club's first comp for the 2010 season kicked off last weekend at the Northern end of Singleton beach.

The predicted decent swell we were hopeing for didn't really rear it's head but there was some fun clean waves on offer for the keen members on hand. New and old members made the most of the picture perfect weather and punchy waves on offer to kick off the season of competition with a bang!

First of all a big THANKS to everyone's patience and hard work to get thing's moving on the morning due to John REEFLEX Barker and partner Fee giving birth to there handsome little man Jai. Thanks for puting up with me running the comp :) couldnt have done it without the help of our commitee members and a huge help out from Helen Rakich on the day!

The triple A division didn't upset with some amazing surfing going down during the semi's and final. In the end it was new club member Jake Metcalf getting the judges approval with his strong surfing throughout the day coming in first. It was insane to see the A division buldging at the seams with so many competitors entering, making this the biggest division in the club. Once again, great to see so many new members in this division making for a strong future for the club!
